Medical Regulatory & Affairs Assistant


Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Primary point of contact between the Management Committee and Medical Executive Committee;
  • Maintain strong relationships with doctors thru regular personal interactions, keeping in mind their needs to improve their clinical practice.
  • Develop and organize relevant programs and activities that involves doctors thereby promoting the hospital’s services;
  • Maintain master calendar of all medical events, conferences, meetings, seminars and programs of all clinical departments;
  • Responsible for timely application and renewal of registration of the facility to government agencies like DOH, Philhealth and PRC as CPD provider.
  • Make sure that Clinical Practice Guidelines for doctors are available and updated;
  • Monitor department meetings/activities to ensure that they are aligned with MVMC’s initiatives and budget;
  • Handle requests, feedback and queries from doctors quickly and professionally;
  • Maintains daily electronic journal, arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders as needed;
  • Arranges medical travel, hotel and dining arrangements as needed (Incentive trips);
  • Take dictation and meeting minutes, accurately enter notes and distribute;
  • Produce professional quality reports, presentations and briefs as required by the Medical Director.
  • Provide the Marketing Department input on DOH’s health calendar or MVMC’s health care activities.
  • Assist in the recruitment and scheduling of JCON, ROD and Family Medicine residents.
  • Perform other tasks related to medical affairs which may be assigned by the Medical Director from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree of Business Administration or Office Administration
  • Well organized
  • With good oral and written communications skills
  • With good inter-personal relation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
