The dietary and cafeteria department provides nutritious and palatable food to patients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining high standards of sanitation, production, and service to all customers. Members of the dietary staff visit patients one-on-one on their rooms to ensure that the food tolerances, preferences, ethnic, and religious needs of all patients are met on a daily basis. The Dietary Services Department is staffed full-time registered dietitians. Our Registered Dietitians not only ensure that nutritional needs are being met, but also that patients receive proper nutrition counseling if necessary. Nutrition counseling is available for people of the community who are interested in weight loss, healthy eating, and diabetes education.
The Dietary Unit and Cafeteria are located at the 2nd Floor, Main Hospital Building. Dietary Unit operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mondays to Saturdays.
