Programmer


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and secure our Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) Server and workstations.
  • Plan network design for extensions, arrange cabling, get quotations from Computer Suppliers and supervise installation of hardware and software for workstations setup.
  • Troubleshooting of System Server errors, Workstations and other computer related problems.
  • Analyze and test computer programs or system to identify errors.
  • Assist staff and users to solve computer related problems such as malfunctions and program problems.
  • Train staff and users on how to use a computer and also the HMIS
  • Keep inventory of hardware and software. Monitoring licenses and ensures compliance with license agreement to Microsoft
  • Report errors of HMIS to our System Programmer for modifications.
  • Report all system concerns to the Immediate Superior if decision making is required.
  • Generates monthly report from HMIS for areas that needs inventory report.
  • Pull out all computers and printers if it’s not functioning or knowledge cannot be applied to work with a solution.
  • Creates company ID to all regular employees.
  • Report to your Immediate Supervisor/Department Head if decision making is required for possible solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • Understanding of object-oriented software engineering
  • Track record of successful application development
  • Experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Preferably with proven experience with OOP languages (Java, C++,VB.NET)
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
